Susan Ables

I’m an Arkansas-based pageant director, digital creator and media executive, best known as the National Director of the US American Miss scholarship pageant system. Based in Camden, Arkansas, I’ve spent more than two decades in entertainment and pageantry.

A little about me

I love the energy of a live moment.

I lead US American Miss, whose annual national competition is hosted in El Dorado, Arkansas. Its unique “spotlight” scoring system celebrates individuality, authenticity and non-traditional participants—everything behind our “Too Bold for the Mold” spirit.

I’m also an executive producer for my family’s media and entertainment companies, JC Productions and PageantsLive. We provide live streaming, video production and media coverage for the most viewed events in pageantry by legacy brands we all know and love, helping each event feel as meaningful on screen as it does in the room.

At the heart of it, I love helping people and communities create live moments that feel genuine, memorable and true to who they are.
